Mario Strikers: Battle League is the third installment of this particular series of Nintendo soccer games starring Mario and his friends. His first appearance was in Nintendo Game Cube, so veterans of the platform may already know his proposal, for those who do not, the Japanese company has prepared a complete gameplay where it explains in detail all the concepts of the game and the news of this new installment.
Basically, it’s about a 4 v 4 soccer game with characters from the Mario series, only you have to hinder the rival with the classic power-ups of the series such as shells, banana peels. It is a mixture between combat and soccer in which fighting for the ball and scoring a goal through totally amazing techniques. The art of the game continues to maintain the same cartoon-like visual style of the previous installments.
As for the content, this trailer in Japanese shows that there will be 10 playable characters, which fans have not liked at all due to the absence of characters like Daisy. It also seems to confirm that soon they will arrive new characters in the form of DLC through the eShop. Each character can be customized with new equipment parts that grant certain buffs on the field.

Mario Strikers: Battle League is one of Nintendo’s big bets for the remainder of 2022, the next one will arrive June 10th to Nintendo Switch.
