Mario sports spin-offs have been one of the key elements of the plumber in all Nintendo consoles, even though, without including Mario Kart on this occasion, it has not been uncommon to see how Mario and his friends play tennis, golf, basketball, among others. However, being perhaps a somewhat less well-known incursion despite being the king of sports, we cannot ignore that Mario Strikers takes us to a fast-paced soccer game.
This has been the case since the time of Game Cube, where we were able to see the first title by Next Level Games (currently responsible for the Luigi’s Mansion saga) and which had a second installment on Wii. However, since then more than a decade has passed, which could imply that the saga was abandoned. And nothing is further from reality, since Mario Strikers: Battle League Football was announced at the beginning of the year.
Daisy could be included among the ten future characters
In this way, next June 10, Mario Strikers: Battle League Football will arrive, the third installment of the saga that will face Mario and company in violent matches of a sport called Strikers, which, in essence, it’s football. However, it must be said that the title has come with some controversysince many fans accuse that the campus is very short, especially highlighting the absence of Daisy.
Given this, it seems that there is hope for the fans of the princess of Sarasaland, since it was announced a few days ago that Mario Strikers Battle League would have free updates that they would be adding new characters. And it seems that now it has been discovered that we could have 20 characters in total:

As you can see, in the internal data of the demo it has been possible to find out that there is room for up to 20 characters, which is equivalent to 10 more could be added in the coming months. This is something that should not be too surprising, since, after all, Mario sports games have been updated regularly on Nintendo Switch.
For the rest, it only remains to remember that Mario Strikers: Battle League Football is coming June 10 exclusively to Nintendo Switchbringing Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Toad, Wario, Waluigi and Estela / Rosalina as standard.
