Secret Invasion released its second episode through the Disney+ platform. The series that stars Samuel L Jacksononce again playing the role of Nick Fury addresses a fight between humans and Skrulls (beings that have the ability to take on the appearance of any person).
Nick Fury had promised a home to approximately one million Skrulls and by failing to comply, a group has revealed itself against the former director of SHIELD.
It usually happens in the individual movies or series of Marvel Studios, that we wonder: Why don’t the Avengers get involved? It would be the ideal option to resolve dangerous issues much faster.
This question is never answered, except for Secret Invasion, where Nick Fury explains the reasons why he does not think it is convenient for characters like Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Thor, the new Captain America, Spider-Man or Hawkeye.
According to what the spy explains, if an Avenger appears on the scene, he runs the risk that the Skrull will imitate him and use him to commit crimes or terrorist acts and thus damage the image of the most important heroes on Earth.
The Skrulls, in the series, have seized military power and the media, weapons that can be used in a very dangerous way against world peace.
Nick Fury mentions that he doesn’t want the Avengers involved as a Skrull could take the form of some of them and turn them into terrorists in front of the media. pic.twitter.com/pZmWbnhIM0
