After vacations, we experience a kind of tiredness, discouragement, lethargy, laziness… It is that our free time is over and -as it happens to children- we have to return to the tasks of daily work. What to do to recover?
To begin with, understand that this condition is not fantasy, madness, an invention of your mind! Psychologists have detected that people do suffer stress or depression after the holidays; it is the so-called “post-vacation syndrome”. This concept refers to the anxiety or emotional pressure you may face when re-adjusting to work tasks after a vacation period.
Such discomfort can even cause you real acute stress pictures: anxiety, decreased performance, palpitations, sweating, increased respiratory and heart rates, tremors, mood changes … If you last more than a week, do not hesitate to go to a doctor.
