Great news for the entire PlayStation gaming community, ahead of the release of the free-to-play demo of BABYLON’S FALL on PlayStation on February 25, SQUARE ENIX today released a new Combat trailer showing off all that lies ahead. in this new installment.
Something that we find quite curious is that the trailer highlights a unique mechanic in the game, which allows players to wield weapons with both hands while using the power of their Gideon Coffin to equip two additional spectral weapons.
This four-weapon combat system offers countless ways to customize the combat experience and unleash devastating combinations against the enemies of the Ziggurat. The roadmap and trailer for the first season have also been revealed, showcasing all the action coming to BABYLON’S FALL from February 25 through May 31.
This includes new game modes, a new faction, a new weapon type, new story content, new bosses, armor, quests, and much more. The Premium Battle Pass will be free for all players during the first season.
SQUARE ENIX has also announced the NieR:Automata collaboration that will take place in BAYBLON’S FALL during the first season. With costumes, enemies, and a NieR:Automata-inspired dungeon, NieR fans won’t want to miss this limited-time event.
In BABYLON’S FALL, players become a group of warriors known as the Sentinels, united with a special team called Gideon Coffin, and embark on an odyssey to overcome the titanic Tower of Babylon, within which lies a great legacy. In addition to the two-handed weapons, characters can use the power of their Gideon Coffin to equip two more, allowing up to four weapons to be combined at once.
The capabilities of the different teams will also bring endless variation to the strategy that can be employed. The game’s visual effects are achieved using a newly developed “brush stroke style” to create a unique fantasy setting with a medieval oil painting aesthetic.
Featuring dynamic cooperative combat, powerful weapons, and a unique and striking art style, the epic world of BABYLON’S FALL can be played solo or in groups of up to four players. Post-launch, BABYLON’S FALL will continue to be supported with new game modes, ongoing campaign content, and different weapon types at no additional cost.
Additionally, the free downloadable demo for BABYLON’S FALL launches tomorrow, February 25, on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The demo gives players access to the opening section of the game, where you can experience both the mode and the game for free. individual as well as cooperative for four players.
