Within the framework of its 152nd anniversary, the Argentine newspaper La Nación has launched its first collection of NFTs, in solidarity and in benefit of those who they consider two protagonists of their Yearbook together with their associations: Catalina Hornos, from Hace Caminos, and Esteban Bullirch and his foundation.
“The first, a mother of ten children, leads an initiative aimed at combating malnutrition. The second is the politician who has moved the world since he was diagnosed with ALS, the disease to which his foundation is dedicated,” they pointed out.
This initiative of La Nación launched for auction will be taking advantage of the hype of NFTs, which, as they comment, became the great novelty of the digital art market during 2021. In addition, it will be carried out together with the NFT marketplace, Enigma. art.
It should be noted that the NFTs are also the product of collaborations with profiles of prominent women and men, particularly during the last year, and that they also shared a space in the digital edition of the newspaper during the month of December.
“Santiago Maratea, the influencer who decided to use the networks to help others; Germán Martitegui, the chef who became a star with the success of MasterChef and who put an end to Tegui’s great story by once again mobilizing the gastronomic circuit; Juana Viale, who led two successful cycles on the television screen with pure charisma; Pablo Jesús Rivero, creator and benchmark of the most awarded Argentine grill; and Nicky Nicole, the young Argentine artist who transcended the country to sing on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon’s program. They are part of this selection that launches a new, experimental and charitable initiative”, they stated.
