Officially, the British Royal House has announced this Thursday that Archie and Lilibet are officially Princes of Sussex, that is, they already have a title within the “Royals”. They are already recognized as British princes! Now their names will be Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, this after baptizing their youngest daughter and confirming this news. Although they have this right from birth because they belong to a Royal lineage.
On King Charles’ coronation day, they automatically became princes simply because they were the grandchildren of a monarch. Some viewers of the Harry and Meghan series claimed that the little ones would not have this right because of everything they went through with the King.
This is how Archie and Lilibet are officially Princes of Sussex
It all started when Prince Harry and Meghan called their daughter a princess after her christening. It was a private ceremony in California and we would expect to see the likes of Kate Middleton and even Camilla, but apparently they weren’t in attendance for this intimate event.
What will they do with this title?
The royal couple said they plan to wear them on more formal occasions and want to let their children have a choice when they are adults, according to HOLA magazine.
What line of succession do these little ones have?
They occupy the sixth and seventh position for the line of succession to the throne. They were baptized in different places (England and the United States) but this does not prevent them from reaching the throne in the future.
