The launch of Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 has caused some inconvenience to the company led by Tim Cook. Several users are complaining about screen problems, specifically about how tenuous it can be.
In accordance with the MacRumors portal, The ambient light sensor on the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is not working as it should.
The screen dims in certain situations, staying on when it doesn’t have to. Also, auto brightness sometimes fails.
The thing is that it is not the only problem with an Apple product recently. Tim Cook’s company addressed the overheating of the iPhone 15 Pro, pointing out that it will release a software update, but that there are many applications that are responsible for the fact.
But let’s focus, for now, on the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
On Reddit, One user explained the problem in detail:
“I started in a bright room and then turned off the lights. The watch stayed super bright in its AOD mode. Only when I woke up the screen and put it back to AOD did it go into AOD mode at the correct brightness (which is supposed to be very dim because I turned off the lights),” notes AnitaDick349 on Reddit.
“Then I started in a very dark room, turned on the lights and the screen didn’t adjust until I woke it up. So before activating the screen, “It was so dark in the lighted room that I couldn’t do anything,” he added.
Another Apple community user posted in the discussion area of the company’s portal: “Why can’t I turn off this automatic dimming, or at least increase the minimum brightness? This is a disaster, as I can barely read the clock in my office and living room, where there is usually little light. Should I return it?”
According to BGR, Apple said it is working on a fix for the Apple Watch Ultra 2, but does not have a completion date yet.
