Manzana recently released a firmware update for most of its accessories: AirPods 2, 3, Pro, and Max modelsin addition to news for the AirTag.
In the case of hearing aids, it is version 5B58, that focuses on correcting errors. Before this update, the Cupertino company had already released one that improved sound quality and other functions.
According to a report published on the website of Ipadizethe company of the bitten apple ensures that the update of the AirPods occurs automatically when you are close to the devices.
Updates occur periodically while AirPods are charging and within Bluetooth range of the iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
The recommendation to update the AirPods is based on connecting them to the cell phone, entering Settings and in the new menu that appears, below, this firmware version. The normal thing would be to wait, but the update can be forced with the following steps.
- Keep AirPods in their charging case.
- Connect the case to the charger using the Lightning cable.
- The AirPods must be connected to your iOS device, connected to the Internet.
- Leaving them for a while the AirPods will update themselves to the latest version.
AirTag Update
For AirTags, this is version 2.0.24, build number 2A24e. The previous version was 1.0.301, released on April 27, included new features to prevent us from being spied on and we can more easily locate the device.
For this new update, Apple did not give details about the improvements, but we still recommend that the AirTags be updated.
The process is also a bit complex as with the AirPods and it is also automatic. We leave some tricks that can work.

- Open the Find My app on iPhone and check the firmware. Wait if you don’t have the latest version.
