Within Apple TV + ‘s proposal to compete in the streaming world, documentaries have positioned themselves among the most watched programs by users. And the most recent premiere could repeat the same scenario. This week Apple TV + has released “9/11: Inside the President’s War Room”.
“9/11: Inside the President’s War Room” is the new documentary special available on the platform that recounts the chronology of the presidency of the United States in the hours immediately after the attacks of September 11, 200 to the towers of the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Virginia.

Narrated by Emmy Award winner Jeff Daniels, the documentary recounts the 12 hours after the attacks, offering a unique and rare glimpse of the dilemmas faced by key decision makers responding for the United States.
The premiere features never-before-heard testimonies from former US President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of State Colin Powell and others. It also has nearly 200 photos that have never been published before, as well as filmed archives.
The documentary exposes the shortcomings of the technology of the timeas the president’s team on Air Force One is often unable to communicate with the bunker where the vice president was staying. Air Force One’s access to phone lines and news broadcasts was also affected.
In addition, The production commemorating the 20th anniversary of the attacks is available to stream on Apple TV + worldwide, with the exception of the UK, where it is available to view on BBC iPlayer. Next week, Apple TV + will also release a filmed version of the Broadway music “Come From Away,” the events of which take place in the week after the 9/11 attacks.
