Apple has decided to do an in-depth look at their entire range of Beats headphones, which have been serving as an official and somewhat cheaper alternative to Beats for some time. Cleanup has been done and Powerbeats, Beats Solo Pro and Beats EP have been retired; that no longer appear for sale in the Apple Store.
At the same time a new model has been presented, the Beats Fit Pro, who want to rival the AirPods Pro including an H1 chip, ambient noise cancellation, spatial audio, up to seven hours of autonomy and charging of its case via USB-C. At the moment it is sold in the United States for $ 199.99.
This is how the Beats range looks in November 2021
It is worth collecting the changes and seeing how the Beats catalog of headphones looks, in order to have a better vision of how it looks compared to the AirPods catalog. These are the Beats headphone models that we can buy from now on:
- Headband Headphones: Beats Solo3 (over-ear) Beats Studio3 (around-ear) and Beats Pro (around-ear)
- Earbuds: Beats Studio Buds, Beats Flex (wired between headphones), Beats Fit Pro, Powerbeats Pro (sports)
- Portable Speakers: Beats Pill +
Apple has also taken the opportunity to promote discounts on some of these models, but only in the United States. The brand must have decided simplify the offer of this alternative brand of headphones, setting aside those models that have been sold less or that have become more outdated.
