Manzana has responded quickly and effectively to reports of overheating affecting the most recent models of its flagship, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, upon releasing iOS 17.0.3 for all eligible devices.
This update, according to the report published on the website of Neowinaims to address the temperature issues that had been marring the launch of these devices.
The problem, previously reported by Apple, was related to the use of certain apps, such as Instagram and Uber, causing the devices to overheat due to the workload on the new A17 Pro chips that power these phones. The fix for this issue is already built into the beta version of iOS 17.1, which is available for testing.

The challenges did not end there for Apple, as it was reported problems with the NFC chip in the new iPhones, which failed after charging the device in BMW cars. There were also reports that Apple had compromised the device’s cooling in an attempt to reduce its weight.
Apple has simultaneously released iPadOS 17.0.3, which includes general bug fixes for iPad devices. Both iOS 17.0.3 and iPadOS 17.0.3 support a wide range of devices, including models from the second and third generation iPhone SE to the latest iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
