Nine months ago a rumor came out that made all the sense in the world: Apple was preparing Windows versions of the Apple Music and Podcasts applications, with the intention of replacing the still-alive iTunes in that operating system. Since then we have not heard anything more, although there is news about it.
Windows 11 has just taken the first steps to be able to run Android applications, which means an interesting advantage for the system and the peculiarity of be able to open Apple Music for Android in Windows 11. It is not a launch, but after all what opens is an official application.

Not all of you who have Windows 11 installed can use this, since this function still in beta and reserved for those who sign up for the Microsoft Insider Program. It is also necessary to install the application externally, using the executable .APK. The way to do it is somewhat complicated, but it works.
In a way, Microsoft has gotten ahead of Apple. You can run your music service with this application, although you can also do it from iTunes or from the web if you don’t like the program. The funny thing is that Apple cannot do anything to avoid it, since Android is an open system and therefore impossible to stop developers and hobbyists from getting hold of the executable from Apple Music to be loaded externally on any device.
