Is this a bug or the result of a security patch to Apple’s mobile OS? One thing is certain, iOS 13.5 requires you to reinstall a large number of apps…
Several of your iOS or iPadOS apps no longer launch? Do you have 35 updates to make when yesterday you downloaded the latest versions of your apps on your brand new SE 2020? Don’t panic, it’s normal. Finally, not quite but it will have to do with it, whatever it is.
Following the last update of iOS 13 and its counterpart for tablet – iOS/iPadOS 13.5, it seems that several applications need to be completely reinstalled to function again.
Depending on the number of programs you use and which ones are affected (unknown number) this can be very simple and fast as… very tedious. But the good news is that afterwards everything is back to normal.
Failure of unknown origin
This situation and this re-download procedure could be linked to the fact that some apps no longer worked correctly after the update.
Several users mentioned the appearance of the message “ This app is no longer accessible ” on the screen when they wanted to launch the app in question and had acquired a license.
Apple would, therefore, have launched via App Store a massive call to carry out updates of apps – however up to date – even if this leads to complete reinstallations. The original cause of this malfunction is currently unknown.
If this happens to you and you want to keep the information stored in the app before reinstalling, simply “unload the App” through the Settings / General / Storage menu of the iPhone and select the desired app. A menu opens in which all you have to do is select the unload option. Uninstall the app and finally reinstall it from the Store.
