At the end of last year, supposed leaks of the mysterious rOS project began to emerge. It sounded like something unlikely, but the story was about the secret development of an Augmented Reality (AR) device inside Apple. Now it seems that everything was true.
It happens that Ming-Chi Kuo, the renowned analyst specializing in Apple; with an extensive history of successes (and some failures) in its leaks on the company; He has just released a report, which states that the Cupertino boys would launch their AR lenses in the year 2020.
Kuo reaches the degree of calling Augmented Reality the “next-generation revolutionary user interface”. And ensures that Apple would better cement its position as a brand by entering that market.
To date, Apple has not confirmed its plans for venturing into that business. But I could surprise soon.
The theory is strengthened as reports from different sources that point in the same direction accumulate.
However, the most ironic thing is that Kuo’s own report does not give so much weight to it; and focuses on the also rumored Apple Car.
Same that would definitely be in development. And it would be presented in 2023, according to the analyst.
That sounds even more distant and unlikely. Do we believe him?
