Three years: that is the time that Telecinco had been leading in the monthly hearings. A streak of 37 months that had been in danger for a few months through technical draws (last August they were separated by only two hundredths) and, for the first time since August 2018, is Antena 3 which is crowned as the lonely audience leader monthly in the month of September.
Specifically, a 14.2% screen share media is the one that the Atresmedia chain has gathered throughout the past month. It thus surpasses Telecinco by 0.4 points, which is relegated to second place with 13.8%. As third, we continue to have the audience crisis of La 1, which has to settle with 8.7%, at a dangerously close distance from laSexta (6.2%) and Cuatro (5.1%).
This data confirms the good sense that Antena 3 has had in its programming this month, a success that contrasts with factors like the blind stick that Telecinco executed in the middle of the month with its strategy of advancing / dividing its prime time in a desperate move to achieve audience for both ‘Pasapalabra’ and ‘El Hormiguero’.
In general, the afternoons of Antena 3, with ‘Tierra amarga’ and the contests are in good health which is coupled with the obvious exhaustion of ‘Save me’. Telecinco has not finished working the new season of ‘El pueblo’, which has collected quite poor data.
Not only that, but also ‘Public mirror’ has hit a rebound despite not surpassing ‘The Ana Rosa program’. We cannot forget the informative. Those of Antena 3 (both those in the afternoon and those at night) take 21 places among the 25 most watched broadcasts of the month, caused by the catastrophic eruption of the volcano on the island of La Palma.
A victory that since Mediaset have recognized. Of course, Vasile’s group still leads (27.4%), by the minimum, compared to Atresmedia (27.3%) if we take into account all channels. What will happen this October? We’ll be alert.
