Heche, known for 1990s movies like Donnie Brasco, six days and seven nights Y Psychosisas well as for his relationship with TV host Ellen DeGenereshad been in a coma since he crashed his vehicle into a house on August 5.
The 53-year-old actress’s body was kept on life support until Sunday while her organ donation was evaluated in accordance with her wishes, spokeswoman Holly Baird said.

“Anne Heche was peacefully taken off life support,” Baird told AFP on Monday, without mentioning whether any organ recipients were found.
Heche’s violent car crash 10 days ago destroyed much of a two-story house in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. Dozens of firefighters battled the blaze that raged for more than an hour.
The preliminary tests of Heche’s blood revealed the consumption of narcoticsprompting a felony DUI investigation, but Los Angeles police said investigations and attempts to press charges ceased if she was declared legally dead.
The TMZ portal, according to quotes from police sources, said that Heche had tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl.
Heche achieved fame with her role in the telenovela Another world for which she won an Emmy Award in 1991. She was also nominated for a Tony Award for her part in the play “Twentieth Century” on Broadway in 2004.
