Far Cry 6, the latest installment in the iconic Ubisoft saga, has been on the market for a few days now, and in a very short time it has managed to create the odd stir on social networks, the last one caused by how “identical” it feels to the other Far Cry, something that many people criticize, but that others want, since the game does not innovate in the formula that they have been using since Far Cry 3, and they like that. Although the problems caused for the game do not remain here, since Animal rights group PETA sues Ubisoft to remove cockfighting from Far Cry 6.
This news comes from the hand of PETA Latino, who have published a statement asking the French company to eliminate the cockfighting mini-game, since it goes against what the platform defends, since nowadays, this horrible practice is, luckily, outlawed.

A new Far Cry could have been revealed within Far Cry 6
This is not the first time that PETA has gotten into a legal fight with Ubisoft, as when Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was released, there were also complaints about the mini-game of hunting whales and sharks. Although the motives and ideals that PETA defends are very noble, we must never forget that it is a game, and as such, treat it for what it is: simple fun.
