In september 2020, an electric beast started its adventure in Mexico. The Taycan, the first Porsche supercar, hit the market with its 750 horsepower and the ability to travel 450 kilometers on a single charge.
Just a year later, the electrifying supercar receives its first update that, by no means, goes unnoticed. From the outset, it includes the possibility to choose between 65 colors exteriors that pay tribute to the iconic 911.
From Acid Green, Rubystar Red, and Riviera Blue to Viola Metallic (featured in the images on this note), the Porsche taycan now it can be personalized with these exotic hues.
In addition to the renewal, connectivity with Android Auto through the infotainment system, which will allow any device to be linked with the Google operating system, as well as a better understanding by the Porsche voice assistant, the Voice Pilot.
Finally, the TaycanIn its all-wheel drive version, it will now be able to almost completely disconnect the engine from the front axle at low speed, which will allow it to consume less energy while driving and improve its autonomy.
“This freewheel function reduces friction losses. If the driver requests more power or changes the driving mode, the engines are reactivated in a matter of milliseconds ”, said the company.

All these novelties will begin to be integrated into Taycan starting next September. In other words, we are days away from the start of a new stage for this supercar.
