Ever since Xbox introduced achievements on Xbox 360, gamers have seen all sorts of different achievements added to games. Most Xbox achievements are pretty reasonable, though there are a few that are ridiculously difficult or tedious. However, a new Xbox release may take the cake for having the most absurd achievement out there, as one of them takes literally 10 years to unlock without cheating.
‘The Stanley Parable‘ is a strange game that you have to play to understand it properly, but the gist of it is that it’s a first-person game where players are given a series of commands, and the game changes radically depending on whether the players listen or not the narrator’s requests.
The Stanley Parable has been acclaimed and often held up as an example of gaming as an art form thanks to its clever writing, themes, and gameplay innovations.
The Stanley Parable has finally arrived on consoles with The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, and just like the PC version, it packs in some pretty crazy achievements and trophies. Among them is a ridiculous achievement called “Super Go Outside” what players can only legitimately unlock if they don’t play the game for 10 years after first launching it.
This means players won’t be able to unlock it until April 2032 at the earliest, unless they tamper with their console’s clock settings.
Needless to say, players are going to have a tough time unlocking all of the achievements/trophies from The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. Besides Super Go Outside, there are other wacky achievements in the game. There’s one for clicking a specific door five times, one for unlocking the first achievement, one for turning the game off and back on, and one forcing players to play for 24 hours straight on a Tuesday.
Some of these achievements are the easiest in any game, but others are some of the hardest that players can find in video games.
