The new Hyundai IONIQ 5 shows its production
The different phases that the Hyundai IONIQ 5 goes through show all the processes, including also mounting the new integrated charge control unit or battery pack which is mounted on the E-GMP platform, remaining under the floor of the passenger compartment. A battery pack consisting of different modules and cells with the highest level of energy density in the mass production market.
A technology developed by the Korean brand itself and that provides a maximum range of up to 480 kilometers. In addition, the IONIQ 5 can be recharged at 800 Volt ultra-fast charging points, taking 15 minutes to recover 80% of the charge. The level of the compact crossover is such that in just 5 minutes it stores energy for 100 kilometers.
The video also reveals one of the biggest secrets in the industry, the calibration and adjustment of the different driving assistants, an exhaustive inspection of the operation of the cameras, the digital rear-view mirrors, the Head-up display system and the augmented reality function, the famous quality tests that brands limit to a tightness test in a torrential rain and those that are carried out on a bench of tests.
