Reading such a sentence even seems insulting, but according to researcher Diana Delonzor, those who tend to be late everywhere are always more optimistic in life, therefore they are happier people. What do you think about this?
BEING LATE = HAPPIER
In her book Never Be Late Again, Diana Delonzor explains that those who tend to be late chronically are because they are not good at calculating the time it will take them to do their tasks and responsibilities because due to their type of personality they perceive that time passes slower.
This has a few benefits to be happier:
- They are not stressed; they don’t feel the time pressure on them and relaxed they can do their homework.
- This enthusiastic attitude is useful in the face of life’s adversities; they are able to face conflicts peacefully, without stress or anxiety.
- They resolve conflicts efficiently and even propose new paths since their relaxed mood allows them to look at options where stress clouds vision and possibilities. This can make them more successful in the workplace, even if they don’t get to meetings on time.
- They have less risk of coronary heart disease, something that is usually linked to the little stress they experience.
