On August 24th came Aliens: Fireteam Elite to consoles and PC. During its first days on the market, Steam reported up to 15,000 active players. However, since then the numbers have dropped significantly, and nowadays you hardly find a couple hundred people in this title.
According to Steam Charts, during the last 24 hours there was a peak of 941 players in Aliens: Fireteam Elite. On the other hand, on October 14 only 769 active people were registered, an extremely low number. Although the quality of this game is surely partly responsible for this poor performance, there are a couple of factors that have been responsible for this inactivity.
Two months after its launch, Aliens: Fireteam Elite has not received an update focused on adding content, game modes or something else that encourages you to constantly return to hunt xenomorphs. Similarly, last week came Back 4 Blood to the market, which offers a similar style of play, so the chances of seeing 15,000 active players once again are quite low.

Editor’s Note:
Aliens: Fireteam Elite it’s not a good game. While enjoying this title as a team relieves a bit of the torture of completing the campaign, the experience is pretty boring overall. Considering that two months have passed and there is no new content, this gives the idea that the developers do not care about their own creation either.
