The Italian-Swiss team, Alfa Romeo, has confirmed that it will present its new single-seater after completing the first three days of pre-season in Barcelona. The team has completely renewed its pair of drivers.
While teams like Aston Martin plan to show off their new car on February 10, 13 days before the start of preseason, Alfa Romeo has made a complete opposite decision and will make a presentation with the real and final car after the first three days of tests scheduled in Barcelona between February 23 and 25.
Specifically, the team that will compete in the 2022 Formula 1 season with Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou as official drivers will be officially presented on the day February 27showing in said event its definitive decoration.
Other teams will probably use a very basic configuration of their cars in pre-test presentations that the FIA has endeavored to name shake down despite not being so in practice, removing its official nature and even prohibiting the presence of fans, live times and broadcasting.
Something that will happen in Bahrain between March 10 and 12 at the Sakhir circuit, Bahrain, where the Formula 1 will focus its promotional efforts before the start of the season in the same location a week later.
Alfa Romeo’s goal
This year, taking advantage of the arrival of the new technical regulation which forces all teams to start from scratch, Alfa Romeo aims to join the midfield teams to start scoring regularly and leave the bottom of the standings.
