The Graham Norton Show presented a new clip of The Eternals in which we can see a scene with Ajak and Ikaris talking about the events of Thanos
Actress Salma Hayek was invited to the show The Graham Norton Show, in which she spoke of an anecdote at San Diego Comic Con in which she was warned to be careful not to talk about The Eternals why she didn’t know who might be listening across the room they were in, and a new clip from the movie was featured showing her character, Ajak talking to Richard Madden’s Ikaris outside a remote cabin with her recapping the events of Avengers: Endgame and mentioning how Thanos snap “Delayed the appearance.”
“Five years ago, Thanos wiped out half the population of the universe … delayed the appearance … but the people of this planet brought everyone back with a snap of a finger”.
She continues to look back at a time when she separated from the team, during which she saw the ability of humans to love and admitted that they have had a profound effect on her throughout the millennia. You know, after I let them go, I traveled the world living among them. I have seen them fight, lie and kill, but I have also seen them laugh and love, I have seen them create and dream. This planet and these people have changed me.

Ajak finding his way on Earth
While there is no context to clarify what more important topic Ajak and Ikris are discussing in this scene, Salma Hayek’s hero has a chance to show his deep respect for the people of Earth right now.
The Emergence is clearly set to play a key role in this movie after numerous mentions in previous trailers and promo material, though Ajak puts it in perspective in relation to Thanos wiping out half of all life in the universe. As fans wait to find out what the Emergency is, its importance becomes clear after Thanos delayed this event for some time.
Hayek also shows Ajak’s emotional side as the spiritual leader of the Eternals in this movie, recalling how he saw how kind and caring humans could be, even through so many wars. Your compassion should be something that helps propel your team to success, no matter what the specifics of your mission are, especially when you join forces once again after your separation.

This clip may not feature the same level of action as the first two, but it still provides insight into how this movie will explore emotional peaks and valleys as it traverses past MCU movies. It’s safe to say, Marvel Studios is looking to bring a movie unlike anything ever delivered before with characters like Ajak at the helm.
Eternals will debut in theaters around the world on November 5, 2021.
