As has been made known through a release on the official Xbox website, the Age of Empires 25th anniversary event will take place next October 25 at 7:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time) and can be followed through Twitch, the Age of Empires website and the Age of Empires, Xbox and Red Bull Gaming YouTube channels. That’s not all, because in this statement some of the main lines that will make up the event that will be held at the end of next month have already been announced.

To begin with, that same October 25 will launch Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition on Steam and the Microsoft Store, with the base game and all expansions released to date. Owners of the game will get this new version completely free of charge. We will also have exclusive rewards for Age of Empires II Definitive Edition and Age of Empires III Definitive Edition. For now, Microsoft is silent about the possible and rumored arrival of Age of Empires IV on Xbox, so we will have to wait until the aforementioned date to find out.
