The new version of Google’s operating system has officially reached the smartphone world. As always, the first to receive this update will be the Pixels from the American company.
It seems that October is the month of operating system updates. And is that if we first had Windows 11 last October 5, now we get Android 12 just a couple of weeks later.
The new Google operating system comes to replace the current Android 11, which is already in almost all modern devices. The update, as you know, will take several months to reach the main terminals in the sector.
While we’ve been hearing about Android 12 for a long time, we say that today it has been officially released because Google has just released its code. That is, now any company can take it and put it on their phone.
The first to get the update will be Google’s Pixel phones, starting with the Pixel 3 up. The new Pixel 6 will arrive with Android 12 installed as standard.
The Android team describes Android 12 as their most personal operating system to date thanks to the Material You feature, which allows you to customize widgets, adjust system colors, and much more.
Android 12 has also become more accessible thanks to new visibility features. This includes the ability to adjust the screen to bold or grayscale for easier viewing in the event of vision problems.
It has also been added a specific lighting to use the mobile at night, in addition to a virtual magnifying glass that allows us to enlarge a part of the screen for when we do not see something well.
Of course, do not go running to find the update to your mobile if you do not have a Pixel, since as you know updates to Android 12 are now on the roof of companies (Xiaomi, OnePlus, Samsung, etc.) and these usually take a few months to launch a stable version.
