During the Nintendo Direct on September 24, we could see announcements about all kinds of titles: from indies like Disco Elysium: The Final Cut until the return of AAA titles like Bayonetta 3. However, one of the most particular announcements that were made during said presentation is about the remaster of the Super Nintendo title Actraiser. Under the name of Actraiser Renaissance, the return of this experience retro seeks to win back the community with new graphics and additional content, among other novelties.

Actraiser it is a video game developed by the now defunct Enix and released in 1990 for Super nintendo. In this title you control the Teacher, a character whose purpose is to save the world from the clutches of Tanzra through the purification of the soil and the reconstruction of cities. This video game is a classic that the most veteran will remember with great nostalgia.
Among the big announcements of the Nintendo Direct on September 24 was a trailer of Actraiser Renaissance, a remake of the SNES title that includes many new features. The most apparent of them all concerns the graphic improvement, which has provided you with a 2.5D aesthetics quite visually appealing. The soundtrack has also been remastered., also giving the option to the players of switch to the original in case you are looking for an experience more faithful to the Super Nintendo title. As revealed at the end of the trailer, it looks like they will be included new bosses and more bonus content, although we don’t know much more about it.
Actraiser Renaissance is now available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, iOS and Android platforms. In regards to Microsoft Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S consoles nothing has been announced yet.
