Although Activision Blizzard’s total employee count has risen from 9,500 at the end of 2020 to 9,800 at the end of last year, the company notes that they have seen job shortages, increased competition for talent, and a increase in employee attrition.
Other data from this annual report by Activision Blizzard reveals that the company is maintained thanks to three franchises, and these are Call of Duty, Candy Crush and Warcraft. These three franchises make up 82% of the company’s profits, but no other franchise reaches even 10%.
