During a recent interview, the actor oscar isaac spoke about his role as Spider-Man 2099 in the animated film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verserevealing what makes his hero a version of Spidey different from the rest.
Isaac explained that, unlike other Spider-Man, Michael O’Hara he has no sense of humor and is a very serious version of the webslinger.
It’s been really fun working on this with Phil Lord and Kemp Powers. What I can say is that what makes this character so funny is that he is the Spider-Man who has no sense of humor. Because they all act like they’re so witty, right? They’re all witty except for this guy who isn’t. He is a very serious Spider-Man.
