FIFA 23 is the latest installment in this long-running series and aims to offer players an authentic gameplay experience. EA has finally revealed FIFA 23 through a new trailer and has confirmed that it will work with HyperMotion2 technology.
HyperMotion technology was one of the main focuses of FIFA 22’s marketing efforts, although it was limited to the next-gen versions of the game. It has been confirmed that FIFA 23 will have full cross-play support in most game modes. Other than that, not much was known about FIFA 23 before today, as this year EA did not host its usual summer press conference, known as EA Play Live.
With this new trailer, EA is giving fans a look at FIFA 23 gameplay, graphics, commentary and more, while also confirming a set release date. EA has confirmed that FIFA 23 It will officially come out on September 30, and that the Definitive Edition will be released three days earlier, on September 27.
The presentation trailer for FIFA 23 it consisted mainly of players showing off their impressive dribbling skills. It puts a lot of emphasis on the improved HyperMotion2 technology and the quality of the animations. The video also showed off an updated user interface for free kicks, before confirming a World Cup mode that will coincide with the FIFA World Cup tournament later this year.
An EA tweet mentions that FIFA 23 will include both the men’s and women’s FIFA World Cups. The video focuses heavily on the most popular players from the world’s top clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
However, the cover stars and players from their respective clubs appear more prominently than others. EA has already revealed the FIFA 23 cover stars, confirming that PSG’s Kylian Mbappe and Chelsea’s Sam Kerr will be the cover stars of the FIFA 23 Definitive Edition.
Kerr becomes the first player to appear on the global cover of a FIFA game, while Mbappe makes his third consecutive appearance as cover star.
