On March 23, a new streaming platform will arrive for the channels of Movistar+with special attention to classic cinema and film documentaries. TCM Now It represents a strong commitment by Movistar+ and TCM to double their catalog and stand out from other video platforms on demand with a lot of their own production that will include reports, documentaries and interviews with professionals from the film industry.

TCM Now It is proposed as a new on-demand video service accessible through Movistar+ to expand its catalog of on-demand content and without incurring an extra cost for platform subscribers.
With this new seal, Movistar+ will double its content offer. TCM Now will be available from next 23 of March and in addition to having in its catalog with great classics such as ‘Citizen Kane’, ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’, ‘Singing in the Rain’, ‘King Kong’ or ‘Cinema Paradiso’, others can also be seen on the platform more contemporary titles like ‘Spotlight’, ‘Moonlight’, or ‘Twelve Years a Slave’.
There will also be a space for Spanish cinema, with films such as ‘La heifer’ or ‘El día de la Bestia’ available in the catalogue. In addition to all this content, TCM Now has closed an agreement with Warner Bros. and certain classic titles such as ‘The Maltese Falcon’ or ‘The Blacklist’ will only be available on demand on this platform.
March 23 is also the day on which the Austrian director Michael Hanke turns 80 years old. To celebrate his birthday and the launch of the platform, TCM and TCM Now will premiere the documentary in Spain ‘Michael Haneke, a filmmaker of our time’in addition to several titles from his filmography, including ‘Amor’, ‘La pianista’ or ‘Unknown code’.
In addition to all this content, within the platform there will also be great attention to documentaries, especially those with a cinematographic theme, and a space with interviews to different figures and professionals of the seventh art like Antonio Banderas or Paco Plaza.
The TCM Now catalog is expected to be updated every month with new titles and proprietary content.
