The eternal rumor could finally take shape.
Throughout all these years it has been possible to see that Konami has gradually disassociated itself from the video game industry, leading this to the fact that currently beyond games like Yugi-Oh, mobile games and pachinkos, their presence in the industry is practically very poor. And despite this, it must be said that nothing is going wrong for themmaking profit records in several fiscal years.
Despite this, it must be said that there are not a few fans of the franchises who continue to look forward to seeing at some point a new Konami title on consoles and/or PC, thus giving rise to the most famous names being Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid and Castlevania. In fact, Abandoned, a game that is more evident every day that it was a scam, was rumored as a Silent Hill reboot. All that being said, it looks like there might be hope coming soon.
The TGS could be the setting for the announcement of a new Silent Hill
Recently it has been known that Konami will announce a new game of a very beloved saga soon, being so that everything indicates that it is one of the aforementioned sagas. However, it seems that all the ballots point in the same directionleading to the lucky franchise being rumored to be Silent Hill.
In this way, this rumor that comes from Andy Robinson, who has used his social networks to affirm that have you heard of a new Silent Hillmakes us think that the next September 16 could be the day of the big announcement. Of course, keep in mind that this is a mere rumor, so the best thing you can do is take this information with a grain of salt and wait for official confirmation. You can see the tweet posted below:
I’ve now heard from several people that a Silent Hill reveal may be sooner the I suggested in my story today. As with all reporting on timings I wouldn’t take that as gospel, but fans possibly won’t have to wait much longer.

For the rest, it only remains to note that Silent Hill has without having a new title since 2012, while Kojima’s attempt to make his own version ended up being cancelled. Time will tell if a decade later we see the resurgence of the saga.
