Goodbye to racking your brains looking for the place where you died with this new Minecraft object that would arrive soon.
Minecraft is one of those games that penalize death by losing all your inventory in the place where you died, as happens in the Elden Ring with the runes you carry. Unlike FromSoftware’s game, Minecraft doesn’t indicate in any way where it has died so you can go get your things, if you don’t remember exactly where it went, you will lose all your things. This is how it has always been, although things could change, since Minecraft could incorporate an item that takes you directly to where you last died.
Its about Recovery Compassan item introduced in Minecraft snapshot 22W14A, is about trial builds for minecraft java for pc which allows players to try out some experimental features and give your feedback before they officially arrive in the game for the rest of the versions and platforms. Apart from other news that is expected to arrive with version 1.19 of Minecraft, the Wild Update, this snapshot features the Recovery Compass, an item that mark the direction to the place where you last died. Something really useful and requested by players for a long time (via ScreenRant).
It should be noted that it is recommended do not always carry this compass with you because, in case of death, it would be lost with the team and it would be of no use, obviously. Crafting this Recovery Compass will require Echo Shards.another new addition, is used to make the compass and can only be found in the new Ancient Cities biome.
Upcoming news from Minecraft
At the moment there is no specific date for the arrival of this Wild Update, but it is still scheduled for 2022. Other news that could come to Minecraft this year is the ray tracing support on Xbox series Xalthough Mojang denied for the moment that it plans a short-term update on this matter, which does not completely rule out the possibility of this type of technology reaching consoles later.
