A new Unreal Engine 5 demo makes you question whether what you’re seeing is real or not
The video shows a short clip of images first-person view of a game in development by artist Alexandre S, who has featured his work on Twitter. The game he’s working on doesn’t seem to have a title, but his biography of Twitter lists them as artists in a French studio called DRAMA. The demo was created in Unreal Engine and give some mind-blowing sensationssince it seems that the main character is not part of a game but it is the same reality.
There are numerous comments below the video itself from people who thought they were actually seeing real footage. Character movement is erratic and the character’s weapon is held higher in the frame than is normally seen in a first-person shooter, suggesting the camera is situated on his chest. The screen is blurred and disturbed by filters and effects to give you the feeling of images that have been transmitted through a portable camera.
It is actually an experiment that is very interesting to watch. Although it looks very real, the game could get tiresome due to character movements that cause blurred vision the final result. There would also be many questions in regards to the sensitivity itself.

There is no further history or setup information here, and it seems like little more than a tech demo of what the engine has to offer. If it became a bigger gameit would be interesting to see how it would behave on more modern machines.
