It’s been just under two years since we finally received a new sequel to the Crash Bandicoot saga. The last title in the saga returned to the roots of the original trilogy and was received with quite a few good reviews among players and specialized critics, so it is not surprising that with this and the success of the remastered original trilogy Activision Blizzard was thinking to launch a new title.
According to a new rumour, it seems that Toys For Bob would be working on a new Crash Bandicoot. However, the game would not be of the platform genre in this case, but it would be a “brawler”, a genre based on combat, cooperative for four players.
Crash Bandicoot and Spyro are now owned by Microsoft
filtration has come from of the well-known journalist Jez Cordenof Windows Central, who has assured that Toys for Bob are in charge of this project, despite previous leaks suggesting that the studio had been put to work on Call of Duty, like most studios within Activision Blizzard.
A new Crash Bandicoot would be in development by Toys for Bob
This title could have been inspired by the success of Crash Team Racing, the racing title in the saga that went on sale in 2019, and that garnered an outstanding reception among players. We are waiting to receive more information about this new Crash Bandicoot, which would once again be a spin off.
