The great novelty of the Czech brand is being uncovered. The exterior image of the Skoda Vision 7S concept car has just been revealed in some interesting sketches that show the new brand identity that those from Mladá Boleslav will follow in the coming years, and especially in their future electric cars.
The Skoda Vision 7S marks the future of the Czech brand. The firm has been anticipating for a few months a new design philosophy that it will apply to its new generation of models, and more especially to the new electric cars that it has scheduled for the coming years. The new style, baptized as «Modern Solid», is presented in these interesting sketches that also reveal another great novelty, a new 100% electric SUV of large proportions that will be positioned as an alternative to the Skoda Kodiaq.
Skoda has been announcing the Vision 7S with different previews, one with a blurred image of the front view and several more of a state-of-the-art interior, along with an unprecedented level of habitability and space. But it has been now, when its world premiere is closer, when it has shown the exterior design of this concept, which breaks completely with what has been known until now. Head on, the headlights become slimmer, taking on a graceful ‘T’ shapeslightly extending through the bumper where the main functions of lighting, crossing and road are located.
The Skoda Vision 7S Concept will revolutionize the Czech brand
At the top, daylight. The center is occupied by a new grille shaped like an inverted trapezoid. The bumper has been completely renewed, and in the case of SUVs it will have an aluminum protector with seven vertical slots. Skoda’s future seven-seater SUV also completely changes the side design, betting on sportier styling thanks to steeply raked windshield pillars and a floating-style roofending in an attractive roof spoiler with a central indentation.
The same design of the headlight clusters is transferred to the rear ones, with the horizontal section biting the tailgate and fins. The brand name serves as a link between the left and right pilots, and the same design of the front aluminum protector is also reproduced on the rear, with orange decorative inserts. Avant-garde on the outside, and an important leap forward, and minimalism in an interior that has nothing to do with the current generation of electric cars of the brand, and neither with those of Volkswagen.
The concept of the Skoda Vision 7S will lead to a new electric model based on the MEB platform, with seven seats and more familiar than the current Enyaq iV. For now, its specifications and details are a mystery, but soon we will know more details of this important novelty that will become a very interesting option for large families who seriously care about ecology and zero emissions.
