On May 11, in the city of Buenos Aires (Argentina), there will be a conference on Artificial Intelligence and the future of work, called “El Octavo Día”. Cointelegraph en Español spoke with some of the organizers to learn more details. It should be noted that the Buenos Aires Regional National Technological University (UTN) and Block House are also behind the organization of the event.
José Javier Iadicicco, co-founder of ADA Solar (one of the co-organizers) explained: “The idea is to focus on activating the powerhouse of questions that can arise in the human mind and get out of the cloisters of the classrooms to bring the National Technological University (UTN) Regional Buenos Aires to the community”. And he added: “The name ‘Eighth day’ alludes to a day after, to what will come, to the future.”
Blockchain technology will be one of the protagonists in the conference. Iadicicco also recalled that ADA Solar makes use of blockchain technology to try to get solar energy to more people through the Cardano blockchain.
The UTN Regional Buenos Aires chose the Buenos Aires Planetarium, Galileo Galilei, as the place where the conference will take place, which will take place on May 11, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
“It will be a day for creativity in an environment that will encourage the exchange of ideas, via streaming, in the best possible scenario, a metaphor for the impossible, since the sky has no limits. Like the questions and advances in science and technology, which thrown into infinity will generate new ones”, said Iadicicco.
