There are stories at least curious in the video game industry, which are mostly starring Skyrim. However, the one we have seen recently is one of the most curious, since a game from 20 years ago has come to life.
Is about Infinity, a game that between 1999 and 2001 was developed for the Game Boy Color by Affinix Software, but that ended up being canceled due to the arrival of Game Boyd Advance, which was a serious blow to the title.
However, never say never, since thanks to Kickstarters the project has been reborn, to such an extent that since the past it has been open its financing campaign for the launch of the game both physically and digitally. You can see a mini trailer of the project below:
In addition, Infinity is a project that is being developed by the independent publishers Incube8 Games and Retro Modding being a title belonging to the tactical RPG genre with more than 50 explorable areas.
It is worth mentioning that one of the objectives of this campaign is the release of a physical version for Game Boy Color, so if it was not enough with its rebirth, above this it will be done in the most faithful way possible.
On the other hand, since the launch of the campaign we have been able to know new goals that have been reached in Kickstarters, so the game will feature the composer of Streets of Rage and Etrian Odyssey, Yuzo Koshiro, in the same way that a special game mode will be added to which it has been dubbed as GBA enhanced mode, which presumably would make the game look similar to those on this console.
The stretch goal of $ 100,000CAD has been surpassed in a few hours, creating the Gameboy music natively “for the first time in my life” will be achieved. Thanks for your back.https://t.co/XKErnk3tBl

For the rest, it only remains to wait to see if finally there is no problem that prevents launching the title, in the same way as this could open the doors to other projects canceled in the past.
Likewise, it should be noted that it is not the only project of this caliber that has a second chance, since, being supported by a company, we have the case of Metroid Dread, which returns more than 10 years after its multiple cancellations.
