A total of 80 innovative ventures from 10 regions of Peru are the new beneficiaries of the Startup Peru 9Gcontest of the ProInnóvate program of the Ministry of Production (Produce) that grants seed capital from 60,000 to 140,000 soles and technical support, to accelerate its entry and consolidation in the market.
This last call, which closed on February 3, attracted applicants from all over Peru to access this non-reimbursable co-financing (without repayment to the State), provided by ProInnóvate through two categories: Innovative Entrepreneurship and Dynamic Entrepreneurship.
The new generation of StartUp Peru 9G
With these funds, 60 innovative entrepreneurs they will be able to accelerate the validation and development of an innovative commercial product for its entry into the market. For their part, 20 dynamic entrepreneurs will be able to consolidate the growth of their companies locally and globally.
The 9G generation is home to startups from Lima, Amazonas, Arequipa, La Libertad, San Martín, Huánuco, Junín, Lambayeque, Ica and Ucayali. Edtech, logistics and transport, agritech, fintech and biotech are the sectors with the most beneficiaries. They are followed by software, manufacturing, e-commerce, foodtech, construction and housing, energy and clean technology, among others.
In total, ProInnóvate will inject funds for 9 million soles to benefit the 80 winning ventures.
