Exhibitors, filmmakers, programmers, analysts, distributors and other professionals from the audiovisual sector of Mexico and the world will meet from June 5 to 10 at the The Public of the Future Seminar to try to answer a key question: what does it mean to show cinema today?

Is it possible to germinate within a cultural sector (social and economic) in crisis? Can paths be found that make us rethink the concepts of success? The inaugural conference will begin to explore these issues, in a discussion with Paula Astorga, executive director of the seminar, and Carlos Gutiérrez, executive director of Cinema Tropical, a platform that for just over 20 years has promoted and exhibited Latin American cinema in the United States. titled Germinate in the present time under the watchful eye of an uncertain futurethe conference will be held on June 5 at 12:00 in the auditorium of the University Museum of Contemporary Art (MUAC), in Mexico City.
