After having seen them fleetingly last week thanks to the leaker Jon Prosser, today we return to talk about Google Pixel 6 Pro thanks to the new detailed renderings of OnLeaks.
As always, we start from the front where we will apparently find for the first time a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with minimal bezels and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Confirmed the hole in the central position that will house the front camera.
In the lower part of the side frame, we will find a USB Type-C port accompanied by a speaker grille. The smartphone will be equipped with stereo speakers, with an upper and lower speaker unit. On the right side, we will find the power button and the volume rocker, while on the left we will find the SIM slot.
Let’s move on to the back, the most characteristic of the smartphone. We find a black band where three photographic sensors will be placed: the main sensor, an ultra-wide-angle and a periscopic telephoto lens. The LED flash is placed right next to them. From the renders, we can see the use of a two-tone design, with an orange band on the top and the rest of the back in white. Note how the Google logo on the back matches the color of the upper band.
Size-wise it looks like the Pixel 6 Pro will measure 163.9 x 75.8 x 8.9 ~ 11.5mm (with the camera bump).
Specific side at the moment very little is known. Several rumors are reporting that it will be powered by the Whitechapel chip, a custom chip developed by Google. Also, there should be support for wireless charging, but the battery capacity is not yet known.
The announcement of the new Pixel 6 range should take place immediately after the summer.
