It was long ago revealed that Disney was working on a series of The Santa Clause, with Tim Allen returning as Santa Claus. Now, it seems that Christmas came early, since the first official image of this production has been shared. Although there are some people happy with what was shown today, there are others who are not happy with the absence of a key character.
At first look at The Santa Clauses, we can see Tim Allen as Scott Calvin, better known as Santa Claus; Elizabeth Mitchell, who reprises her role as Carol Calvin, aka Mrs. Claus; Elizabeth Allen-Dick, playing the daughter of this couple; to Austin Kane, who will play Cal, the eldest son of Scott and Carol.
However, fans were quick to notice that David Krumholtz, who gave Bernard the Elf in the first two films in the series, not present hereand many believe that the character does not even have a role in the Disney + series.
“I need Charlie and Bernard, even in cameos. It’s not the Santa Claus franchise without them.”

Although in social networks there are some people who are sad about this decision, others understand that Krumholtz is already 44 years old, a very old age to be an elf, so this surely played a role in deciding who will appear in this production. Along with Bernard, Eric Lloyd, who played Charlie, is also not present here..
At the end of the day, it’s likely that Disney decided to put an emphasis on new characters, since aside from Allen and Mitchell, they’re all new to the series. There is still a chance that Bernard, Charlie and more characters we remember from the movies will have a role in the series.. We just have to wait.
The Santa Clauses will come to Disney+ in the futureAt the moment there is no specific release date. In related topics, it is revealed when more Spider-Man movies will arrive on this platform.
Editor’s Note:
Considering that the series is focused on finding a replacement for Santa, which would mean the death of Scott Calvin, I am interested in the type of series that will be presented to us. There are still some doubts, and I hope it’s not all just a fan service festival, but I’ll give it a try when it’s available.
