Some time ago Insomniac Games, the company responsible for the Ratchet and Clank franchise or the unparalleled success, Marvel’s Spider-Man, surprised us all by announcing not one, but two titles at an event held by PlayStation itself (the company that bought Insomniac Games a few years ago). These titles presented were the expected sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man, which would introduce Venom as a villain, and what was possibly the most unexpected announcement of that event: Marvel’s Wolverine, which was introduced with a simple cinematic.
This brief presentation already implied that the developer was going to go a long way, especially if we take into account that this studio is not exactly large, that they are developing two games, and that as far as we know is a study that is totally against the “crunch”. Now we have been able to know that the development is going from strength to strength, and this information does not come from anyone else, nor anyone less than the main animator of this title.
Motion capture has given us the key
Specifically, this information It has come thanks to a posting on Twitter Mike Yosh, who is, as we have already said, the main animator of this video game. In this publication you can see a photograph, which shows the typical set used for “motion capture”, that technique in which real actors are used as the basis for performances within the game. In this photo we can see that the stage is completely empty, but if we look at the text left by Mike Yosh, it becomes clear that soon there will be people on that stage.
So peaceful and quiet, ….it will not be like this for long pic.twitter.com/JvPzfPlEvS

This gives us to understand that now is when they are going to start recording the scenes with this technique and then transfer them to the game. For now do not be impatient, because This is usually done in fairly early stages of developmentWhich fits perfectly with what we said at the time about the time it would take to arrive.
Keep in mind that before this Marvel’s Wolverine has to get the sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Mansomething that makes us understand that we still have a long time until everyone’s favorite X-Men arrives on our consoles.
