After the news of Windows 10, now it is the turn of Windows 11. By sharing part of the code there are some improvements that reach the Release Preview and Beta channels that are also in the Windows 10 Build 19044.1618. Let’s take a look at all the improvements coming to this update.

What’s new in Windows 11 Build 22000.588
- Novelty! Added a new policy that shows the top three notifications for an app enlarged by default in Action Center. For applications that send notifications using Windows notifications in the OS. This feature displays multiple notifications that can be interacted with simultaneously.
- Fixed an issue that disables automatic launch of Universal Windows Platform (UWP) apps after upgrading the operating system.
- Fixed an issue that caused SystemSettings.exe stop working.
- Fixed an issue affecting searchindexer.exe and prevents Microsoft Outlook offline search from returning recent emails.
- Fixed an issue that increases Windows startup time. This issue occurs because a UI thread in a network API stops responding when a 5G wireless wide area network (WWAN) device is slow to resume.
- Mitigated a memory leak in the module wmipicmp.dll which causes many false alarms in the System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) data center monitoring system.
- Fixed an issue that incorrectly returned registry execution policy settings.
- Fixed an issue where modern browsers cannot properly render HTML generated by gpresult/h.
- Fixed an issue causing an exception from “Access denied” for a file during a PowerShell test for AppLocker.
- Fixed an issue that causes the Remote Desktop Service (RDS) server to become unstable when the number of registered users exceeds 100. This prevents published applications from being accessed via RDS on Windows Server 2019.
- Fixed an issue that returns an error message when searching for a domain or organizational unit (OU). This issue occurs due to incorrect zeroing of memory.
- Fixed an issue that caused the Group Policy Management Console to stop working after closing it. The system logs the application error event ID 1000 and the error, 0xc0000005 (STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION); the module that fails is GPOAdmin.dll.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the Group Policy service to stop processing telemetry information for Group Policy logging preferences.
- Fixed a stop error (0xD1, DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) in the DirectX core component.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Kerberos.dll cease to function within the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS). This occurs when LSASS processes simultaneous user-to-user (U2U) service-to-user (S4U) requests for the same client user.
- Fixed an issue affecting the Key Distribution Center (KDC) proxy. The KDC Proxy cannot successfully obtain Kerberos tickets to log in to Key Trust Windows Hello for Business.
- Added support for Microsoft account (MSA) pass-through scenarios in Azure Active Directory (AAD) Web Account Manager (WAM).
- Addresses an issue that logs Event ID 37 during certain password change scenarios, including Failover Cluster Name Object (CNO) or Virtual Machine Object (VCO) password changes.
- Fixed an issue that prevents the User Account Control (UAC) dialog from properly displaying the application requesting elevated privileges.
- Fixed an issue that could cause a Microsoft OneDrive file to lose focus after renaming it and pressing the Enter key.
- The corresponding configuration page is displayed when the word widgets is searched for.
- Fixed an issue preventing event 4739 from displaying the new values of certain attributes after a policy change.
- Fixed a problem that makes the command Move-ADObject fail when moving computer accounts between domains. The error message is: “Multiple values have been specified for an attribute that can only have one value.”
- Mitigated an issue that prevents access to Server Message Block (SMB) shares using an IP address when SMB hardening is enabled.
- Fixed an issue causing stop error 0x1E on SMB server (srv2.sys).
- Fixed an issue that caused a mismatch between NetBIOS and DNS Active Directory domain names when creating a cluster.
