And here it is, as expected considering it’s Valentine’s Day. With March 25 in the spotlight for the premiere of the new episodes, Netflix has unveiled the sensational first trailer for season 2 from ‘The Bridgertons’, the addictive period drama made in Shondaland.
And it looks like we’ll have Lady Whistledown (which we put a face to at the end of season 1) with his personal gossip crusade to destabilize nineteenth-century high society since, in his words, “he is preparing his weapons”. Which? So we’ll have to wait a few weeks.
the viscount who loved me
What we do know is that this season 2 will continue the thread of ‘The viscount who loved me’, the Julia Quinn novel starring Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and his search for a suitable wife. An impossible mission until Kate (Simone Ashley) and her little sister Ewina (Charithra Chandran) arrive from India.
When Anthony starts courting Ewina, Kate discovers his true intentions and will try to stop him.. But this confrontation will make both of them get closer and closer. This and much more entanglements of the Bridgerton family prepares us for Chris Van Dunsen as the main writer of these episodes.
In this season we will meet Shelley Conn and Calam Lynch as the main additions from a cast consisting of Adjoa Andoh, Lorraine Ashbourne, Harriet Cains, Bessie Carter, Phoebe Dynevor, Ruth Gemmell, Florence Hunt, Martins Imhangbe, Claudia Jessie, Luke Newton, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Thompson, Will Tilston, Polly Walker and Julie Andrews.
