One of the applications that we use the most on a daily basis on our Android terminals are, without a doubt, web browsing applications or Internet browsers for Android. It is for the same reason that today I bring you a compilation of 8 Tricks for Google Chrome that no user should miss.
This compilation of 8 tricks for web browsers that, in principle, have been verified from Google’s web browser, Google Chrome, most of them are also compatible, as we show you in the attached video with which we started this post, to almost all web browsers for Android, except the last one, which is a functionality only added in the internal settings of the new versions of Google Chrome. So without delay, why is it possible to click on “Continue reading this post” to know all these added features or tricks of your favorite web browser?
The first trick for Google Chrome that I show you in the attached video is a trick that will be useful for any web browser for Android, and it is that just by typing in the address bar of our favorite browser, right at the end of the page that we are visiting, adding / amp /, will ensure that the text is perfectly justified to the size of our Android screen, eliminating some of the advertising integrated in the web as well as leaving everything with a higher resolution for a better reading of the article or content that we are visiting.
This article that I published some time ago right here in Bullfrag, we will be able to read it as it is shown by default in any browser for Android, although if we add the following text/amp/at the end, the article in question will be shown in a much clearer way for better reading as it would happen for example in the reading mode offered by the Firefox browser for Android as standard.
2nd – Save web pages as if they were Android applications
This trick is functional for almost all web browsers for Android, and it is that just by clicking on the menu of the aforementioned web browser that we are using on our Android, we will have access to an option called Save page on desktop, save page on home screen or something similar depending on the web browser of which we are users.
This will allow us, as a bookmark created directly as an icon on the main desktop of our Android Launcher, to access our favorite pages without having to open the web browser in question and search for it in favorites. In addition, this icon created on the home screen of our Android can be treated just like any Android application and move it to any desktop, move it within a folder, or if our Launcher allows it, change the predefined icon for another that we like more.
This third track will allow us to navigate incognito from Google’s Chrome web browser, and it is that just by clicking on the Chrome menu button for Android, the one that appears in the upper right part in three-point mode, we are going to find the possibility of opening a new tab in incognito mode, which will free us from the search history, saved passwords and cookies and of course will allow us to navigate incognito even having logged in with our account credentials or synced Google accounts.
This fourth trick is surely already known to all users of web browsers for Android, and it is that just by entering the three dots that take us to the Chrome menu, we will find the Share option , an option from which We will be able to share the web page we are visiting with any contact via instant messaging applications, email applications such as Gmail or Inbox or save it as a file or as a text note among many other things.
5th – Find text on the page
With this fifth trick for Google’s Chrome and valid for most web browsers, just by entering the menu of the browser in question, in this case, Google’s Chrome, and clicking on the search option, a window to enter text, which will be filtered and highlighted on the web page so that we can find what we are looking for in a very, very fast way.
6th – Save Web pages as PDF documents
In sixth position, we leave you this trick or functionality integrated in all web browsers for Android, and it is that from the Print option that is within the menu of our favorite web browser, we will have the possibility to save the web page as a document PDF that we are visiting to see it at any time or even send it via email or print it.
7th – View as on the computer
From this option integrated in Google Chrome and in all web browsers for Android, we will be able to avoid the mobile interfaces that some web pages show us to be able to see them as we would from the web browser of our personal computer.
This option, which is initially integrated into the internal settings of Google Chrome and which more and more web browsers are integrating for Android, allows us with the simple activation of a box, to be able to reduce the sometimes excessive data consumption of web browsers as in this case Google Chrome.
In Chrome, in order to enable this interesting option to reduce data consumption, we will only have to click on the three dots in the upper right and once there click on the configuration option. Once inside configuration, we will see the option to save data.
