scarlet nexus

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is a fun, fast and visually beautiful J-RPG that reminds us very much of the old school of this genre with certain games like Valkyrie Profile with its platforming and zone stages ‘impossible‘ to arrive. It also features a system of quests and side quests that are too reminiscent of the old school, for better or worse, but it’s still fun and surprisingly addictive for precisely the same reason.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon
The seventh installment of the Yakuza saga arrives completely renewing the formula of the franchise. Going from a beat’em up to a JRPG, Yakuza: Like a Dragon It is one of the best JRPGs of recent times. On this occasion, our protagonist will be Ichiban Kasuga, a man who has sworn allegiance to the Arakawa family, a group of Yakuzas from Kamurocho.
At the beginning of the story we see how this family has conflicts with another, and as a result of this we will end up in jail instead of the son of our boss. We will go out 20 years later and discover that nothing is the same as before, the head of the Arakawa family is now a high-ranking member of the family who were previously our rivals and we will seek to reach him to find out the whole truth.
