Microsoft adds new games to its subscription service Xbox GamePass all the time, usually spreading them out throughout the month. While it’s true that Microsoft tends to dole out new releases for Xbox Game Pass, there are also days when a ton of new games are added at once.
This is the case on July 14, as Microsoft has just added 5 games for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, including notable releases from the Day one. Starting today, subscribers to Xbox GamePass on the cloud, consoles and PC will be able to enjoy Escape Academy, My Friend Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls and PowerWash Simulator, while PC Game Pass subscribers have exclusive access to Overwhelm.
Of these games, the two most prominent are Escape Academy and PowerWash Simulator, as both are releases of the Day one. Escape Academy is a cooperative game where players can work together to solve puzzles and complete escape rooms.
PowerWash Simulator, meanwhile, is exactly as its name suggests. It is a simulation game in which players clean objects with a pressure washer. These weird simulation games are all the rage, but PowerWash Simulator is one of the most well-received games on the market today, so Game Pass subscribers should consider checking it out.
My Friend Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls are clearly targeting a younger demographic, though there is something interesting about My Friend Peppa Pig that Game Pass subscribers should be aware of. On review aggregate site Metacritic, My Friend Peppa Pig has a higher user rating than Battlefield 2042, Call of Duty: Vanguard, and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition combined.
Regardless, today is a good day for Game Pass subscribers because of the five new games they now have access to, but it’s also one of the last days fans can get a sneak peek at titles coming out on the 15th. of July.
The 15th of July, Xbox GamePass it loses five games which are Atomicrops, Carrion, Children of Morta, Cris Tales, and Lethal League Blaze, so anyone interested in those games should make sure to check them out while they can.
