Lenovo has announced three new well-differentiated monitors in the framework of Tech World 2021. It is the ThinkVision P27u-20, Lenovo G27e-20 and Lenovo G24e-20, three models that arrive to cover different market niches.
While the ThinkVision P27u-20 is left for the use of those looking for a more professional model, the Lenovo G27e-20 and the G24e-20 are focused to compete in the gaming market. We are going to know what their benefits are and what they can offer.
For gamers and professionals
The ThinkVision P27u-20 is a 27-inch monitor that allows play a UHD resolution or what is the same, 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. It is based on an IPS panel with a 16: 9 aspect ratio.
Of the rest of the benefits, highlight the color coverage of the 100% sRGB, 99.5% in AdobeRGB, 99.1% in DCI-P3 and 100% in BT.709. The panel is 10-bit (8 + FRC), has a brightness of 450 nits, a response time of 4 milliseconds, a refresh rate of 60 Hz and is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified.
Regarding connectivity the ThinkVision P27u-20 offers two Thunderbolt 4, two HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.2, two USB 3.2 Type A, two USN 3.2 Type B and one USB Type C. The Thunderbolt 4 port supports up to 40 Gbps of data and power up to 100 W.
For their part, the Lenovo G27e-20 and G24e-20 arrive to cover the gaming field and are part of the G-Series family. They only differ in size, with 7 and 23.8 inches diagonal.
The rest of the benefits are the same. They offer a FUll HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels), are compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium, they have a refresh rate of 100Hz that with overclock can reach 120Hz and a response time of 1 millisecond.
In the connectivity section, both offer an HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort 1.2 socket and an audio jack 3.5 mm.
